We are often asked "will medical insurance cover sports injuries"?
The short answer is yes, provided that you are not a professional sports person. If you are a semi-professional or professional sports person, we can offer you a specific specialist contract. Please call for a personal us for a personal quotation.

A number of questions have cropped up over the years, such as:

"What will happen if I need a ligament repair due to an injury playing rugby or football?"
Providing this is a new injury, it will almost certainly be covered in its entirety - subject to the level of cover in your chosen scheme.

"Are MRI scans covered for sports injuries?"
Providing the injury is a new one, subsequent to you taking out insurance, the answer is yes, and it is usually possible to have a scan within a few days.

"Will medical insurance cover an injury arising from equestrian sports?"
Yes, provided it is a new injury that has occurred subsequent to you taking out insurance.

"Can I see a physiotherapist for my sports injury?"
Yes, provided the injury was sustained after you took out insurance and your scheme covers outpatient therapies.
